WordPress MU and BuddyPress:

• Introducing BuddyPress A quick 4 minute video that nicely explains what BuddyPress is. This helps in understanding BuddyPress. Once you view this I believe you will really start to be able to ‘imagine’ how we could implement BuddyPress here at the Collaborative.
• Andy Peatling talks about Why Use BuddyPress? This information is somewhat basic, good for beginners. Video, less than 5 minutes.
• Andy Peatling again, talking about more specific practical advice  [plugins, skins, themes etc] for people considering this as a platforn.   Cooking with BuddyPress. This is a 45 minute video.
• If you really have some time, consider watching and hearing what Matt Mullenweg has to say about the State of the Word 2010. Get some snacks & libations, this video is 75 minutes from Matt’s speech May 2010.  Matt is the boy-genius behind WordPress and yes, he is 26 years old. BTW @ 49.49 minutes Matt addresses a question about WordPress security. @ minute 52.06 Matt replies to a question about BuddyPress within WordPress 3.0. @ 64:29 there is another answer to BuddyPress.
