I suspect my experience with developing a website and blog is similar to many. I tried on my own, with little success, and then hired 3 different “designers” to help me out. Each experience ended in disaster, and I was left with a mostly workable website, but not one that I felt good about. I was stuck using a template, which limited what I could do with the site, and was out a lot of money.
