What are the Essential of  Website  and
Graphic Design?

Well the basics of website, graphic design are just CRAP. Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, & Proximity.

• Contrast
  when two elements are not exactly the same they should be different
• Repetition
  styles and visual elements should be repeated across a page and site wide
• Alignment
  Our eye automatically lines things up so when they are not we feel it
• Proximity
  Closeness and distance can be used to group related items and separate unrelated items

ALSO;  Style, Taste, Culture, Time Period, and Budget are graphic design essentials. And lets not forget about negotioations that will always be a part of design even if you are designing for yourself.

This site will try to strive towards my process as I moved through jobs. I will add links to sites I find worth while but not always design related. Your comments welcomed.
